The Phoenix Rescue Mission (www.PhoenixRescueMission.org) has been serving the homeless and the issues surrounding them for more than 57 years, providing hot meals, shelter, addiction recovery programs and much more with successful results. Our Mission has been “...to rescue lives, to save lives, to change lives, to serve lives.”

With the Changing Lives Center, the Phoenix Rescue Mission is entering a new phase in the fight against the conditions that are destroying the precious lives of countless women and children in our community. This future state of the art facility and recovery program will be a stronghold in the fight against the despair many families are facing right now.

It is the vision of the Changing Lives Center to provide each child who enters this program with their mother a blanket that they can call their own, a bicycle, and a scrapbook that they will make themselves at the center.

The Highlands Women's Ministry Knit Witters is helping to meet the need by making and donating knitted and crocheted children's afghans.
