Highlands Hikers is a Women’s Ministry connecting group at Highlands Church. Our mission is to fellowship, enjoy God’s beautiful creation,
exercise our bodies, and to serve as an outreach to women in our community. Let’s celebrate God’s creation and conquer the
Arizona Mountains together! Please remember to wear sun protection, bring plenty of drinking water,

February - April 2010 Hikes
When: Saturday, March 6th from 8:30 to 10:30 am
Where: Lost Dog Wash Trail
Level: Easy to Moderate
This is a 4.5 mile roundtrip hike to a saddle that overlooks Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural complex.
We will meet at Lost Dog Wash trail head at 8:30 am located at the end of 124th street north of Via Linda.
This is wildflower season so remember to bring your camera!
When: Saturday, April 10th from 8:00 to 10:30 am
Where: Gateway Loop Trail
Level: Intermediate to Moderate
This is a 3.6 mile scenic loop trail in the Gateway area of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. There is a 625 ft elevation gain on gradual grades.
We will meet at the new Gateway Access Area located on the east side of Thompson Peak Parkway between Bell Road and Union Hills.
